Community Open Doors Event

Saturday 8 March, 10am – 2pm

Back by popular demand, we are delighted to be hosting our FREE Community Open Doors event again for 2025!

Come along to this free, family-friendly day in our home at St. Paul’s Church and enjoy a range of interactive activities. The workshops will be curated by celebrated local creative Norman ‘Rubba’ Stephenson and hosted by Circomedia.

With workshops in circus, African drumming and dance young people and adults alike can enjoy a range of other engaging activities from creatives in our local community. Find out more

BTEC Spring Show

Thursday 27 March, 7:30pm

Join our first year BTEC students as they present a series of new Theatre in Education ensemble pieces, devised through an inspiration of their choice.

The students are working in groups to devise, produce and create a show piece to a stimulus of their choosing that is suitable for primary school aged children. The creative pieces will showcase the circus skills that they have been developing over their year with us at Circomedia. Find out more

Circus as Drawing Symposium

Friday 28 – Sunday 30 March, 10:00am – 4:00pm

This Spring, we are offering Artistic Research Partnerships that are open to both circus and visual artists. Come and explore the theme of ‘Circus as Drawing’ with us at our Kingswood training facilities. 

Through this three-day symposium, Circus Artists and Visual Artists will have the chance to discuss how circus bodies can make marks, how visual artists engage with the physical act of drawing, to sketch, move, perform, and play in an open and collaborative environment. Find out more

Circomedia Silent Disco

This isn’t your average night out. This April, we’re transforming the iconic St Paul’s Church at Circomedia into a dance floor like no other. Picture this: stunning architecture, electrifying vibes, and you, lost in the music. 

One incredible DJ. Endless vibes. Whether you’re into classic bangers, throwback cheese, or deep house beats, the music flows and flips as you wish – right in your headphones. You choose your groove. Dance solo, sync up with your friends, or switch it up whenever you feel like it. Find out more

BA Final Major Projects

Join us over three nights to experience this mini-festival of new works, presented by ten graduating students from Circomedia’s degree programme.

This is a fantastic opportunity to see the circus talent of the future perform in a stunning professional venue.
