Our Under 18s aerial classes offer specific classes in aerial disciplines for older students. We run classes at our Bristol and Frome sites in a range of aerial disciplines to give students the opportunity to focus and hone their skills in the air.
In weekly aerial classes, students work in small class sizes to practice hoop, trapeze, silks or rope skills.
Students will learn to safely warm up and practise conditioning exercises to improve strength and flexibility, before working on a range of moves and sequences on their chosen piece of equipment.
We have classes for beginners and improvers aged 10+, taking place on weeknights and weekends.
Find out information about our Under 18s’ Flying Trapeze classes here.

Beginners’ Classes are for students who have little or no experience in their chosen aerial skill. Students will learn the basics including how to mount and dismount safely, proper technique, and key moves. They will build strength and agility in small class sizes with the help of our expert tutors.
Improvers’ Classes are aimed at students aged 10-18 who have more experience in their chosen aerial discipline. They should be comfortable working on the equipment without direct assistance and have a good understanding of the basics (mounting, dismounting, proper technique, etc.). Improvers’ students will have a repertoire of basic tricks under their belt and will be starting to work on more complex sequences and moves.
Bristol Classes
Our Bristol U18s Aerial classes are separate to our regular after-school Youth Circus classes: you don’t need to be a current Youth Circus student to join, and current students are not automatically given spaces in these classes.
In our Bristol classes the small class sizes mean these classes operate on a first-come, first-served basis in the same way that our Adult Classes run – classes go on sale in blocks of 4-7 weeks at a time and you need to book for each block (you’re not guaranteed a continuing space).
Bristol class dates will go online, along with a ‘booking opens…’ date, approx. 1 month before a block starts. This gives everyone a fair chance to go online when booking opens!
Frome Classes
In our Frome classes the larger class sizes mean these classes go on sale in terms of 11-13 weeks at a time and you need to book for each term. If you would like to cancel your space you must inform the office before the start of the next term.

We are often away from our desks running classes and workshops, so it is best to email as well as leaving a voicemail, to make sure that we receive your messages as soon as possible.
