SPECIES directed by Bee Kirkwood
Step into the dark comedy of Species, an absurd, fragmented world where reality’s reflection is comically distorted. This circus theatre production delves into the paradox of identity, navigating the perpetual cycle of being too different or not different enough. Through a blend of surrealism and humour, Species offers a vivid exploration of the human condition, challenging norms and celebrating individuality. Prepare for a captivating journey that illuminates the quirks and contradictions of our existence, inviting you to laugh, ponder, and embrace the absurdity of life.
Choreographer: Bethany Button
Cast: Ru Lestrange, Lex Rooney, Ruben Campbell-Paine, Ben Kirby
The Cat(s) In The Box directed by Chloe Mantripp
The Cat(s) In The Box is a lucid world of loops and futility, where everything has outgrown its usefulness. Shifting between the mundane and the epic, our duo attempts to make sense of an impossible system where articulation has become an unattainable dream, and the struggle for survival looms ever-present.
Devised and performed by Louise Tiphaine and Chloe Mantripp. Written by Chloe Mantripp (translations by Louise Tiphaine). Directed by Chloe Mantripp.
Reflecting a summer of chaos for both practitioners, this presentation is the first working of a piece that will be developed further and marks the professional union of two idiots in love with making work that challenges expectations.

I need you. Catch me as I fall and fall with me into flight…
Four characters search for the ground beneath their feet.

Luna Plástico by Jazz McInerney
In realities constructed by simulacra and simulations, where meanings of symbols are long lost and our connections rooted in narratives far removed from the natural world, how do we retain our humanity? Luna Plástico is a 30 minute performance, depicting the human experience in reflection to the man-made material world. Performed and directed by Jazz McInerney, she steps into the strange liminal space of confusion and void, in which she begins to project her inner world; creating patterns of the heart, movements of the mind and stories of the soul. She looks for answers through conversation with her environment, but what is reflected back in objects of metal and plastic? In protest to meaninglessness one must strive to be the most human that we possibly can, but what does that even mean?
Age guide TBC.
